Summit Sanctuary

My custom bespoke wine cellar, nestled just off the entryway, introduces my signature aesthetic: a harmonious blend of dried flat walnut and richly patinaed authentic brass. This deep appreciation for brass and bronze alloys began over two decades ago when I discovered a passion for subverting conventional design with intriguing, unconventional elements. From closet doors transformed into sculptural pieces with intricate fin detailing and custom hardware to the meticulous selection of materials, my work is driven by a relentless pursuit of the extraordinary. I believe in the transformative power of material combinations, finding energy in the convergence of natural stone, solid bronze, and custom metalwork. The Summit Sanctuary embodies this philosophy, featuring bold design choices like an open primary closet and bathroom, a quartzite soaking tub, and an outdoor hot tub accessed through an all-glass corner. These elements, paired with the exquisite interplay of marble, quartzite, and brass, create a space that is both luxurious and thought-provoking.
