Designing with Heart and Humanity
I am asked to design a house and in the end it is my errand to deliver home. Listening to and actually observing those who will live in my projects, allows for an illustrious beginning giving walls and windows a sense of true human-ness grounded in the heart of those who will live there.
Of course its not wrong to want views at every venue when surrounded by Utah’s staggering scenery. It simply puts more pressure on designing the balance of actual walls to evoke a subtle sense of organic flow intended to remain simply backdrop of texture and softened edges. 12’ tall ceilings must be grounded in plush rugs, earthy suedes and breezy window coverings at all cost in order to wrap the home with warmth and livability.
