Palm Desert
Our surroundings inspire a more beautiful life: It Matters
Inspired by the sloping forms in the local hills of Palm Springs, my design of this villa is distinguished by its overarching essence of sanctuary. Nestled into all of the layers is the theme of natural informality, reflecting the surrounding desert landscape. I wanted to create a smooth transition from the indoor to the outdoor spaces that speak openly to one another. Upholstery in boucle and shearling mixed with dried light desert-tone woods and vintage rugs bring the spirit of tranquility. Woven throughout, this villa's tonal hues symbolize well-being and rejuvenation.
